We were born in 2017 with a simple question: what if acacia — the invader nobody wants — was actually the best charcoal raw material in Portugal?
Today we run a 54,000 m² industrial complex at Estrela D'Alva, São Paio do Mondego, in requalified industrial facilities. We produce biochar, briquettes, shisha charcoal and pellets — always from certified wood, powered by solar energy.
We believe in balanced regional development: local jobs, skilled workers and sustainable use of the region's natural resources.
3,800 m² dedicated to the slow pyrolysis behind EKOOLOGY BioCharcoal, with +94% fixed carbon.
Biochar compacted into long-burning briquettes plus premium shisha charcoal, with warehouse and offices (16,788 m²).
2,500 m² producing ENplus A1-certified biomass pellets — clean heating for homes and industry.
