Fondant banana with dark chocolate

The campfire dessert, grown-up edition: banana roasted in its own skin, stuffed with dark chocolate that melts inside. Spoon mandatory.

Method

  1. Slit each banana lengthwise without separating the halves — skin stays on.
  2. Tuck the chocolate squares into the slit.
  3. No wrapping needed: onto the indirect zone, 8–10 minutes.
  4. Ready when the skin darkens and the chocolate peeks out, melted.
  5. Pinch of salt on top and dive in with a spoon.
